I have a Pantech Duo just got it. I installed the CD with Active sync, and plugged in the phone. Now when i plug in the phone it prompts me to install and goes through but if i pick auto it cant find anythign and if i pick the CD it still cant find anything.
Then if i open active sync and try yo conmect it searches but cant find any connections. I know its plugged in tight though cause if i go my computer it has moblie device listed but its just empty and i cant do anythign on it.
Whats going on?
EDIT: To make things even more confusing it still says moblie device in my computer even after i unhook it.

Wirelessly posted (Motorola Razor: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 6.12) T-Mobile Dash)
You might want to try uninstalling the desktop software and reinstalling it again. The program may be a little buggy.

Not to undermine you, but a restart on the phone and computer can be simple and basic refresh for both the phone and comp. Also, uninstall, re-installing the software can help too. I have a pantech duo and sometimes activesync drives me nuts too

Arrrg got it to work. The Duo had modem link enabled by default and that stopped Active Sync from working. I was browsing random seetings and came across and and sure enough below it says "Having this Modem Link enabled can prevent Active Sync from working".
What that does or why it was turned on by default i dont know.
