Q9h vs Blackjack II

I'm looking to pick up a smartphone, and my choices are pretty much limited to the Moto Q9h or Samsung Blackjack 2. I'm going to be using it for viewing pdfs, as well as the occasional other document, some email, and a fair bit of SMS. GPS is also something I'll probably make use of, probably by means of Garmin XT or something equivelent.

I can't really consider other phones, as I can get a $15/mo plan for unlimited email + 2MB, but only if I use a branded phone. Data on a non-branded phone is Canada is basically highway robbery, and I don't want to go there.

Thoughts? Which one is more ergonomic? More stable? Which will work better for the tasks I'll be doing?

Go with the Q, the keyboard is far superior to the BJII and the build quality just feels sturdier to me.

Having tried both, I'd pick BJ II for it's ease of use Vs the Q [wide]. Other than that, they're pretty much the same.. Sound and build quality are about the same on both..

I'm on the same BOAT, how about processing speed, response time, memory and how's the GPS signal on the BJ2??

will i be better off getting the Q9H with my old Bluetooth GPS receiver?

Battery Life difference on these phones??

I would probably say the Q9h because if your going to be texting or tweaking docs then the keyboard is far superior to the BlackJack II
the screen on the Q9h is also bigger i think...
i have the Q9c which is almost the same and the GPS is really nice and typing is a breeze on this keyboard!

Like I said, the processing speed, response time, memory.. et all are pretty much the same... Battery life is great on both, slightly better on the BJ II .. I didn't try the GPS so can't comment on that...

I really liked the voice clarity on the BJ II..

Basically, you can't go wrong with either.. Having owned both.. it's a toss up! The ONLY thing that turned me away from the Q9h was how wide it is.. that's it!

again i say the Q9h's keyboard will trump the BJ II lol
but i do like the BJ II and how its not as big and cumbersome
