Please give your honest opinion on why you love or hate Blackberry.

Be specific with model number if you must.

No phone is the best, if it were the best, everyone would use it. End of discussion.

Posted by: dimsum05

Actually... the best phone is the one that hasn't been made yet!

I <3 BB because of Push Email

Posted by: Cell-Lover

I'm not a big fan of blackberry.

I prefer iPhone over any cell phones in the market now.

blackberry only has email. the OS isnt a strong point, although its stable. i would take s60 qwerty phone from nokia like an E series (e71 owns all!!) anyday over blackberry. but i am not big on corp email. i get real time email thru IMAP from gmail and that's all i need. s60 owns all!!

Posted by: Dette

I think BB is cool
OS isnt that fancy but like roger said it is quite stable!
and yeah same i just get IMAP gmail on my Q and thats all i need
i just use the Gmail app
and i know someone just does that on there BB so i dont think the BB has much over any other smartphone

Posted by: Sturmtruppen22

BB is bad because BB plans arent cheap :P

Posted by: aarononfire

im a huge blackberry fan because it suits my needs well

although if GSM has better reception here i could see myself picking up an N95

BB sucks because if the trackball breaks, the phone is pretty much useless
BB is awesome because the design and functionality is pretty amazing (perhaps the best PDA/smartphone)

i dont love them (loving a phone is pretty creepy. if you say you love a phone, you need to get your nerdy *** outside and date a girl) and i dont hate them (hate is such a strong word)

You guys are funny. I appreciate the comparisons.

I am happy with my Blackberry because after going through so many phones, I am finally satisfied.

The only thing my phone is lacking is GPS hooked to Google maps like my previous Helio had.

Don't the 88xx line and the 8310 curve have GPS builtin in conjunction with BlackBerry maps?

i would be if i didnt keep getting broken phones then that would be fantastic! but sprint insists on sending me bad ****!

but im happy with my Q9c... not as happy with WM though ... a little harder to get to things like texting which i do QUITE often

but what type of apps are available for black berry OS? i'm big on the apps so i''m always fiddling and installing cool new apps. my friend recently go a new BB and he knows i'm into phones, so he asked me to set him up with apps, like garmin, google maps, etc. and honestly i couldnt find anything other than those 2. how robust and scalable are BB phones?

Yes there is maps on my Blackberry which is great. But it is not the Google satellite image map with GPS function like Helio has.

Wirelessly posted (HTC Wizard: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11) PPC; 240x320; HTC_P3600i/1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

Can't you just install the Java version of Google Maps?

no real html email was a deal breaker and plus 35 bucks for the plan. i dont do corp email though and thats what the device is really for. But that keyboard on the curve is the greatest and I have big fingers. I compare that to the treo 680/750, blackjack, moto q, dash 8125/8525 and iphone(lol). 35 compared to my mm200 for 20 is not a difficult choice.

bb is a really good device but if your looking for basic email and im chat, your better off with windows, nokia etc.

plus gas in Tallahassee is 4 bucks a gallon in my Magnum SrT .
