Samsung F700 - Text Messages?

I have the Samsung F700 which is marked only "Samsung F700" and my question is...
I have unlimited texting. I was looking at the memory and it says "0/500" so I believe it can hold that much. But when I reach about 225 texts, it says "No more SMS room?" So I would have to delete my texts. Does anyone here know what this is about? Thanks for looking and helping out. I appreciate it
