Help! Tilt touch screen no longer works

My Tilt screen no longer has touch ability. Otherwise the phone has full function. Tried a soft reset to no avail. Have yet to try a hard reset or a rom reload. Any idea on how to fix this?

same problem, touch isnt working on my E2 need to know which buttons to push to fix it.

Well I did a screen alignment under settings/system/screen and it works now. No hard reset done.

I have an HTC TyTN II and have experienced the same problem you described. I too have done the screen alignment thing and it works everytime.

I have found another solution, however. If you run your finger all over the screen, the screen will eventially come back to life.

I have posted the screen freezing issue on other HTC friendly sites, but no one has responded, other than to say start de-installing programs.

Yea it just got like that all of a sudden. Wouldn't work at all, not even with a finger. Anyway I scrolled manually (with the wheel and d-pad) thru all the settings/adjustments seeing if there was a sensitivity adjustment that got out of whack. Anyway did the screen alignment and poof, it worked. If that didn't work I was going to try the hard reset.
