Hello All,
Long time lurker here. I had a battery question that I haven'e seen pop up yet. Has anyone notice a significant difference in battery life when you charge the iphone via computer dock vs. using the wall charger. My phone averages 14 hours of usage with the computer dock if I drain the battery to 10% and let it charge overnight. If I do the same with the wall unit it seems to only average 12 hours. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this? Sorry if this is a repost but I haven't seen this info yet.

The only real difference is that it would take longer to charge via USB to the computer than with a wall jack.

definately takes a lot longer to charge from the computer as opposed through the wall.

I guess if a few of you could test this out on your phones and post if you see a difference also.

I personally use both to charge and have never seen a difference in the amount of battery life I got from full charge when compared between the wall charger and through USB on my computer. The only difference I've noticed as stated above is that it takes longer to charge.

I think the question pertains to the battery life weather charge via usb or wall type? I do have the same experience that it only last for less than a day compared to other cell phone that it last longer. Is the battery really designed that way?

If you have the screen on for 8 hours a day, sure, it'll die. Otherwise, turn off things you don't need and lower the brightness. You should be able to get 2 days out of it, depending on how you use it.
