HTC Warranty period question

Hi all,

I have a TyTN and when I log into E-club on the HTC website, it says my warranty period is from 5/5/2007 - 8/5/2008

Now does that finish May 8th or does it finish August 5th?

I am in Canada and we usually go Day/Month/Year, but I am not sure if this is right or not?

Because if my phone is still under warranty, I will send it out for repairs, to fix white screen issue (here) and also that my mini-usb doesn't seem to want to activesync with my computer even though it used to work no problems.

Cheers!

EDIT: I just sent them an email through their support page. So I will just have to wait and see

Warranty's are usually 1 year. So since it started May 5, 2007 it will expire on May 8, 2008 they gave you a couple of extra days grace.

Dammit!!!

I was sitting on this warranty and didn't do anything about it. My loss.

I sent them an email in regards to repairing my device, so we will see what they say.

Thanks again.

pocket pc techs repair a lot of HTC stuff, ttny, 8525, etc. there is a place out of texas, i think its doctor cell, cell doctor or something like that. you can call them but its really pricey. i know those with 8525s that sent them in it ran anywhere from 125-300$ for various problems. good luck. i went thru four or five 8525s, got two of them now that are bricks.

If it's anything like $300 to fix this phone, I don't think it is worth it at that point and I can attempt at repairing it myself.

HTC got back to me and told me to call their RMA # so once I do that I will get a better picture of what needs to be done.

thanks
