Update: Radio works, see post 187.

Didn't expect the GSM radio to work. HTC is going to be a popular brand once android is released.

Since the info on how to isntall android demo on your WM phone device has already been covered in this thread I'll tell you all here how to install it onto your Windows XP computer just so you can see how it looks/feels.
I just went to the slideme.org website and asked them WTF? I don't get it?! What is this website? How do I install android on my computer or phone using this website? He replied with this email,

"Hi Aaron,

Thanks for your interest first of all. Android devices as you may know have not launched yet, so the only Google approved way to run Android content is through the emulator which is packed with the Android SDK. It's mostly geared towards developers, so if you're not a developer yourself its a bit of a process to get things running and see Android in action. Let me give you a bit of a walk through:

1) First you need to download the Android SDK from http://code.google.com/android/download.html

2) Extract the zip file in a directory of your preference. Within the extracted directory you'll find a folder named 'tools'. There you will find the emulator. You can launch it by double clicking on its icon. Wait till it starts up and then you'll see what Android looks like.

3) To install an Android app (like SAMce or any other), you'll need to download it first. Android apps have an .apk extension. Download the .apk file place it inside the tools folder (for you ease). Be sure to launch the emulator before installing an app.

4) Launch the Command Prompt (click Start > Run > type 'cmd' without the quotes). Usually the command prompt starts from your account's home folder. If for example your account name is Administrator then you'll see this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>

5) Type the following:
cd Desktop (hit Enter)
cd android-sdk_m5-rc15_windows (hit Enter)
cd tools
adb install <your downloaded application name>.apk

This is the way to install any application. Of course you need to replace <your downloaded application name> with the file name of the apk you want to install
You will immediately see the installed app icon on the emulator's desktop. Just click on the icon to launch the app.

That's pretty much all, I hope my instructions were helpful.

Regards,
Kon."
