Hey guys,
I understand that Sprint's network is a CDMA network and Verizon's is too. The HTC Touch Diamond is coming to Sprint, but I am pretty sure that you can put a Sprint CDMA phone would work with Verizon. A couple years I was really into the designs of Sony Ericsson Phones and I went to go ask Verizon if I bought the phone from their website, then would I be able to use it on the Verizon network? The employee told me that it would work as long as it was a CDMA phone. Unfortunately, the one I wanted at the time was not, but the HTC Touch Diamond is a CDMA Phone. That should mean that it would work on Verizon's Network... Right?

P.S.---Most likely, somebody will figure out how to hack it onto the network like when they did the iPhone to get on T-Mobile.

Should work yes.... does it? Its all up to Verizon to say if they will or not. The government has told them that they have to allow users to do this but that doesn't mean its in affect yet.

First version of Diamond is slated to be GSM, so it'll be unpossible.

The iPhone is a GSM phone, the hack you mention was to unlock it, not to get it on the network. Once unlocked, any valid SIM card would get it onto that card's network.

As mentioned above, the Diamond is based on the Qualcomm MSM7201A chip set; 72xxx is Qualcomm code for a GSM transceiver which means that the Diamond isn't destined for CDMA networks. The Raphael however, is based on the Qualcomm MSM7500A chip set, 75xxx is Qualcomm code for a CDMA transceiver. The Raphael is probably what will be coming to CDMA carriers.
