Tilt & RNDIS/Active Sync Problems

I cannot disable the Start->Settings->Connections-> PC to USB connections, I get a "Failed to disable RNDIS to use Serial" error. Any ideas?
I haven't been able to sync my Tilt for over a month and everything I read indicates this is the issue.

Ideally, you want that enabled anyway. Have you tried syncing to another computer to see if the problem is with the software in the phone, or the software on the PC?

Yes, I've tried to computers w/ Active Sync and one without to see if it would be ID'd as a mass storage device.
