I posted a link to the modmyifone thread about it in our homescreen thread. I love inetlliscreen. And awesome easy source to add.

Intelliscreen is a great app. I've been using it since day one it was available and would recommend anyone who doesn't have it to install it and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Posted by: xbox360gamer

okay, so what does this app do?

f you'd like to add some new news sources ssh to /Library/Intelliborn
then download the file "intelliConfig.xml"

open it up (i'm assuming you've already added some news feeds here) and you should see something like:

I saw a post somewhere that this was something the developer was going to include into the software. I'll see if I can find it again.

Posted by: mknapper1

thanks...going to add it when i get home

Posted by: dsigma6

Looks promising, but I don't think it's for me.

It's nice to show SMS history on the lock screen, but when you get a new message you get redundancy out the ***.

Posted by: Jay_ssm

Nice idea, but it looks really ugly on the screen I find, just doesn't fit right. I'd like to just have a nice size calendar centered with the days events along with the weather but I just don't like the look of it the way it is now.

I agree. But with the right wallpaper it looks better

Posted by: Reznor9

I wish I could drag and place the widgets where we wanted... I would really like to still utilize the large time font on the lock screen... but its covered up by this app

Posted by: mknapper1

Ok I am confused ... Could some please tell me how to get specifically engadget to work on there ... Any help would be great ... Thanks

Posted by: nicktuso

Here is a screen shot of mine.

Posted by: nicktuso

You are able to scroll on each one of those tabs. And if you swipe it from left to right the right way it wakes up out of lock mode and goes straight to that application. ie: slide for text you go to text, slide on the mail it brings mail up, slide on news it brings up the site in safari.

Posted by: nicktuso

You have the option to replace the time and date with another tab. I chose to have time and date because I am used to it. Oh and my fingerprint lock screen is awesome. ha

I was trying to tap, double tap, etc., to make something happen from the main screen. If it didn't work that way, it'd be semi-useless. Always swipe things on this phone, you never know!

Posted by: SpAcEmAn SpLiFF

ive read things about it screwing peoples phones like kate did. i saw a bunch of comments like this on iphoneschool.com is this true?

Posted by: bigmike20

I have different email accounts, is there a way to choose which one to get displayed?

Posted by: nicktuso

Email account thing I have no idea how to display different emails and have them all logged in.

To everyone else...I can swipe(like unlocking) the part of the tab and it brings a red tab for launching that application. Its pretty sweet you don't even have to unlock the phone.

I want to know how to change the coding to where you have to double tap instead of swiping. That would be great for unlocking double tap instead of swipe.

Posted by: mknapper1

yea it would be... so does anyone know exactyly what you have to do for engadget... i am confused

Maybe add a news feed but I need to figure out how to ssh a news feed because it has auto populated ones I don't like. I don't know how to add engadget though.

Yeah, I think that's the idea - not the OS necessarily, but the functionality itself. A lot of people have been wanting this feature, including me. This and Exchange support make the iPhone a lot more attractive to business users.

Posted by: canadian studen

I first tried iToday and that was buggy, this is way better. But speaking about the bugs, sometimes my sound disappears, strange, but i hope that gets fixed. It's still a great app.

Posted by: sportsfreak2159

this app totally messed up my iphone. It locked up and i couldnt wake it up. and when i did, it would lcok back up. it is a nice app, but not rdy for release. to many bugs

Posted by: nicktuso

My phone maybe twice messed up on me since

Posted by: nicktuso

My phone maybe twice messed up on me since I have had it running. I like the news feed and weather for everyday use. Now if we could get traffic updates for one of the tabs I would love this app more than I do now.

Posted by: Kolyan

there seems to be some bug when you restart your iphone, but if you play around a bit and run the settings for this app., everything gets back to normal

Posted by: nicktuso

That is what I had found out.

Posted by: bigmike20

It's been working pretty good for me. No complains so far.

Posted by: Kolyan

update today. added selectable multi news feeds. some other changes and works better overall

Posted by: canadian studen

did the update also, and now when i get a text, the screen doesn't light up anymore, it just makes my text message sound. Did anyone else realize this?

Posted by: mknapper1

yea this totally kills battery life I have had to charge my phone 3 times when I was using this... I deleted it last night and I have 75 percent battery still left from last night
