AT&T Tilt sound issue

Just received my TIlt refurbtoday and love it except for thing. I can't get any sound through the built in earpiece. Speakerphone works well as does my bluetooth but not the earpiece. Any ideas?

Make a call. During the call increase the volume. If that doesn't work get it replaced.
