Someone HelP! Can't get Yahoo mess to work on curve 8300

I am a new curve user , and I can't get Yahoo messenger to connect from the icon on the main menu. The one that has yahoo messenger, aim, and msn mess on it. Aim and msn will connect, but not yahoo. After you hit sign in, the error message says: communication error. Please try again or check your settings. Can anyone help?? Yahoo is the only one I actually use. Please help!!!!! Thanks!
