Strip on bottom of screen!

This is a fix for the strip of the screen at the bottom of Esmertec Jbed that still reflects what is behind it and is very annoying when using the Gmail app for example!

I did not create this fix!
I do no know who did but I will NOT take credit for it as I did not create it.

I am sorry if this is already posted but i didnt find anything about it in the search!

Heres how to use the fix

Download this file: http://www.mediafire.com/?iwjxzthjdww

Plug in WM Phone

Step 1: This is for people who do NOT know how to change there folder options! Go into folder options and under hidden files and folders make sure "show hidden files and folders" is checked
and then under that there should be "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)
uncheck that and then click ok

Make sure Jbed is NOT running on your phone!

Unzip the screenfix.zip so that you have Jbed.exe

Step 2: now navigate to the Windows folder in your smartphone through your PC and drag the unzipped file (Jbed.exe) into your windows folder and when it asks if you want to replace click yes!

Now open Jbed and the strip should not be showing what it behind it!
try it with Opera Mini when typing in an address
or try it with the Gmail App!

Note: You might need to re install some of your java apps.

Always asking to connect!

I do not take credit for this fix either!!!
I also like the screen fix do not know the creator so i cannot give proper credit..

This is a little more complicated

Download this file:http://www.mediafire.com/?wxxowyn2ggx

Follow step 1 of the Screen Fix to change your folder settings if you do not know how or have not done so yet!

Unzip fix.zip so that you have the file fix.exe on your desktop

Navigate to Windows/appdb in your smartphone from your PC
wait for it to load up and then take selector.uif and copy it to your desktop

make sure you have fix.exe and selector.uif both on your desktop and run fix.exe
selector.uif should now be selector.bak.uif and there should be a new selector.uif created on your desktop
copy both files into Windows/appdb on your smartphone

You should not have to choose..
Yes, Ask next session, Or
Yes, Ask next time

Note: You might need to re install some of your java apps.

Thanks, this does work but I can't see the bottom of the Gmail screen so many of the menu items are not visible. Is there any fix for this?

that fix should have done just that
try re installing the gmail app
if that doesnt work then try download this

its a full screen gmail app that will not have the screen glitch!

Follow the guide in my first post
download the screenfix to your PC
and plug in your phone(smartphone) and do the folder options change above
navigate to the windows folder on your phone and copy the jbed.exe into it and replace the old one...
that should do it
you have to have JBED 2.0 btw
heres a link

You want to move that to your phone and install on the phone

Also heres a correction on my guide! The file selector.uif is actually selector.utf! just thought id correct that
