HTC and/or Windows Mobile Meetup in NYC

Has there been any discussion of a meetup in NYC? I'm way too lazy to organize this, but I see it as a good networking opportunity and was just curious if any one shared a similar interest in having such an event.

dont know, i think people would rather have a life than meet up and discuss thier cell phones.

a hobby is a hobby, just like people that have car meets even though they drive economy cars (i have a protege5 BTW)
i personally have never been to a cell phone meet but ive heard ppl do it often, just like people with dell Axim's still have PDA meets
ive only ever gone to a car meet but you share your list of mods and show of your car (show n shine?)
