Tmobile gave me the HTC phone number 1 888 356 2375 and the rep there told me that some of the shadow batteries are defective. I inquired because I just bought this phone four days ago, and I do like the phone and have spent considerable time getting it the way I want and dont care to exchange (as I have exchanged once already becuase the sd door kept coming open). So after giving the rep all of the phone info imei, sn, pn, battery number, he tells me that it is defective and that for 27dollars plus seven in shipping they will send me another battery exactly like it 920mah. And then later on down the road if they deem it proper they will refund me that back, of course, I will have to pay out of my pocket to ship the "defective" battery back. I told the guy "why would I do that?" If the battery is defective then why inconvience me like this just send a replacement?
Then I asked if there was a extended battery and he said no. Then I asked why tmobile representatives were given (as a prize) new shadows with the extended battery in the box. Look on ebay under phones, shadow extended or shadow special, and you will see a plethora of then in the white boxes.
I have called tmobile with no help from them other than this number, and now this useless call to HTC.
I dont surf the web, play games, or check email, it just sits there and occasionally I look at my calender or make two or three short phone calls, and in 10 hours or so its nearly dead.
After having purchased in the past the tilt, wing, mda, I am glad that HTC let me know where i stand as a customer.
Glad to know that the customer comes last@
