MMSC: mmsc.cingular.com
proxy: 066.209.011.032:80

Image size: large

This has worked for me on a Pay As You Go SIM without other changes to the phone besides hacktivation.

I hope you know it may not work unless your IMEI is changed.

I use two different phones...iPhone & Touch Cruise. Sim is from the Cruise. I jailbroke, unlocked and activated via iLiberty. I noticed this...if I have been using the Cruise for a couple days, pop the SIM into my Iphone I can send & receive MMS. If I use the iPhone for at least a day the next morning I cannot send or receive MMS. Plus if I sign onto my ATT account "my device" is identified as an iPhone....I always have assigned a Razr because that is my last phone purchased directly from ATT. When I pop the SIM back into my Cruise & wait a day MMS starts to work again. So I think ATT does do some sort of IMEI sweep nightly.

My point exactly. AT&T sees your Iphone IMEI and changes it to an iphone acct. WHen you change your SIM, they see the TC IMEI. What some users have done was to change their IMEI to another phone with similar features like the rzr. If you changed you Iphone IMEI to the rzr's, you'll never lose the ability to send or receive MMS according to others.

Thats not true when i had a iphone i activated it through itunes and used ziphone to unlock and jailbreak it. Then i used the imei from my q9h and I still was not able to send or recieve pics. I was able to for one night and after that i wasnt able to again.

Could be your issue is you activated thru Itunes.

I would like to try this but I can't get a clear answer....maybe you know. I have already gone thru the jailbreaking process via iLiberty. When I try to just select change IMEI using ZIPHONE I get the error "no action selected" it's almost like I have to check "jailbreak" again. I don't have enough experience with the whole process to know if this matters.

Agreed. The process of activating thru iTunes tells AT&T that you have an iPhone and changes your account accordingly.

I don't know if you can jailbreak with iLiberty and change IMEI with ziphone. I did everything with ziphone.

One thing I don't get...although I am pretty new to the iphone thing. When Swirly works you can fetch & send MMS on the iPhone...so the phone is capable until ATT blocks your IMEI. If your paying for a plan that includes MMS, etc. why does ATT do this? I don't get it?? Are all iPhones blocked from MMS or just the ones that have not activated thru Itunes?

if you dont activate through itunes, can you still load music onto the phone? does all the other features of the phone still work?

Interesting about the changing the imei. I have an existing account and I can't send mms any longer as I use to.
