Rizr z3 Wallpaper issues

Hi!
I just bought an unlocked rizr z3. It looks like it was from Hong Kong. Everything is good except if I set one of the animated pictures as my wallpaper the animation does not work, it is just a still pic. Does anyone know how to fix this? My service provider is Rogers in Toronto. Sorry if this offend anyone if it has been posted before. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
