Ok a lot of this is new to me and I am most likely a few years older than most of you and not as tech savvy, so I thought I would ask for some help on what I need to do.

I had a xv6700 that I bought on verizon and was using. Got pissed at verizon and quit mid contract ( and they still want more money because of it besides my deposit.) so have not paid it off. I am wanting to take my phone and change it over to cricket here and now my question lie.

Do i need to flash phone and if yes how?

Is flashing vs. programming phone over to cricket one in the same or different?

I have been reading about the programming over to cricket and there seems to be some internet troubs with it..has anyone figured this out?

I bought the phone becasue I thought it was cool with the touch screen and really only used it as a phone, texting, and on the net. Never even used the cradle and now want to utilize it a little better, so looking for input on programs to make the net better and whatnot.

It was bought with version 1.05 is this the version to have?

I have used the search on this site and have found some answers and many people seem to contradict each other on how to make things work, so am looking for help from someone who has done this and what I have to do first to start to make this work.
