unlock 1.1.2 iphone

Hi
i have an iPhone have 1.1.2. firmware
its was unlocked and i dont know which method used to unlock it
bas its have that plastic piece with the sim "turbo sim maybe ?"
i changed the sim lately and put it in iphone with the plastic piece
now when i enter to the dailin pad and press any digit its take me to the home screen
i want to unlock it without using this plastic piece and upgrade it to 1.1.4
this my iphone info:
Version 1.1.2
Modem Firmware 04.02.13_G
should i upgrade it using itunes to 1.1.4
then J and U using zIphone 2.5 ?
