sprint 8330 GPS not working with google maps

just switched to the curve from the 8830 and downloaded google maps, it wont give me the GPS location and under options it only says "bluetooth gps"
i have my location on...never had this problem with 8830..i was under impression the curve has GPS.
how do i get it to work? remove and re download google maps?

Google Maps, for the time being, is not compatible with the 8330 in terms of the 8330s internal GPS.
