I've decided to splurge some cash on a high-end headphone since my $50 Sony's are giving away. Although I was happy with them and they served me well for a year, I've decided to move up.

I've did some research and found these 2 models: HD-650 and HD-595. Found them at amazon.com at $335 and $185, respectively. I'd like to know if it's worth the extra money spent on the HD-650s. What do you guys think?

Extra note: I've also decided to put some money away for a CMOY amp from biosciencegeek on ebay.

If you have any other suggestions, they'd be welcome as well, I didn't have time to go through all the AKG, Grado, Denon and Audio Technica brands honestly..
