bought my kit from cnn.cn and it looked great for maybe a month...since then its horrible. the back of the case is now peeling the velvet paint in many areas. my phone is not abused whatsoever, never left in the sun, etc. maybe its just mine, and i got a crappy one, but after doing this im extremely let down with the build quality, especially for the $60 i spent for this.

cnn usually sells high A+ quality replicas, they are usually not OEM

If you've got the $$, your best bet for a swap is to buy a K810 new (or slightly used) on ebay and swap the motherboard with a K790a. It's easy, and all the parts are oem.

Then just sell the K810 MB in the K790 housing as a 'K800' style k810. You might even save a few bucks over the CNN kit.

maybe get K818 is more ideal, just swap out the motherboard, and viola!

i realize they are replicas, but this is far from high a+ quality. i expected much better from them especially after all the reviews from here...
