Anyone know where I can find the custom pack for a w580 for AT&T? I'm using the Davinci Team to rebrand the phone's firmware, and I've got a back up of my gdfs from before I unbranded the phone, but I don't know where to find the AT&T custom pack.

I don't think its extractable. Otherwise, there would be a ton of AT&T firmwares floating out there.

UPDATE:

I just found one. Its CID 52, r7AC001. It includes the main and FS, but I'm not sure if you need the custpack..

I have used that service in the past on my unbranded firmware. It will not take you back to ATT branded firmware.

then you're in the wrong thread. this is for people with debranded phones that need to brand them again to send them back to AT&T to get warranty service.

Use THIS guide for debranding and rebranding. Only this time you use the AT&T Main, FS, and custpack instead of the ones in the guide.

thanks karloz! gonna hold on to these if i decide to rebrand my phone. there are some functionality differences i have issues with in the debranded firmware (shortcut assigning, volume buttons not really volume buttons anymore, texting features, etc) and may just wanna get the att crap back on for the sake of ease of use.

It's in the downloads section of the seusers forum. I don't know why someone doesn't just post it in the thread. Just go to the seusers site and search thier download section. The custpack says ATT in the name and the FS and MAIN say Cingular (same company). It's R7AC001 or something like that.

I just recieved my replacement w580 in the mail, so I need to rebrand my old one STAT, Can I us XS++ to grab at&t's firmware/fs etc. off of the new one and put it on my old phone?

Thanks for posting the rapidshare URL. I was not trying to be a lazy A** or a pain in the A**. I looked on SEUS and saw several files and was not sure exactly which one I needed. The only reason that I asked for the file was that zinkoxyde had previously offered the correct and tested files earlier in the post. I always try to read and find things my self first and not ask usually. Thanks anyway and I will keep these files safe in case I ever need to file a warranty claim on my phone. I got this phone a week ago for the upgrade price instead of retail, De Branded it fine my self with the De Branding instructions and the asia files and it worked flawlessly and I love it w/o all the ATT crap on it. But if I accidentially break it or it won't work, then I will have to pay full price if my warranty was voided by debranding and not being able to re brand. Anyway, Thanks again.

Sorry, meant Karloz25 offered the files, anyway, wasn't trying to be a lazy bum pain in the A**. Don't know if this helps, but I used the Asian files to flash that were suggested to use in the De Branding thread and then updated my phone to the latest software just using the automatic update wizard in the W580i Menu. My volume buttons on the side have always worked. On my W580i, when the phone is idle or just sitting there with the screen off or blacked out, if I push volume up or down, it just lightens my screen a bit and shows a small digital clock. If I take my phone out of standby or unlock it and don't slide it open and am on the home screen and press my volume buttons, it shows my phone profile and status info. If I hit the walkman button with the phone still closed and not slid open, then the volume button works to control the volume of the music. If I make a call with the phone closed and not slid open then the volume button works to change the ear piece volume of the person I am talking to. The only time that the volume button on my phone actually controls the volume is when I am listening to music or talking on it. Other than that, it has other uses or is assigned by the firmware or actual software. Thanks and hope this helps you out. PEACE!

Hey karloz, thanks for the links! I flashed and it worked, but things don't seem to be exactly the same as the stock firmware. Some things like the startup and shutdown videos, Dandelion theme, and trial applications were missing, and some links from the menu like MEdia Net and AT&T Mall didn't work. When I first turned on the phone, I think it said "Cannot use this file." Anyone know what's up?

I'm just a little worried that they'll notice a difference and figure out that it was debranded.
