just wondering if a P800 can sync with MAC? and is SE the only brand that makes their phones to sync with MAC (cuz always see a T68i in apple site) thx.

first of all it is not "MAC", it is Mac as in Macintosh

(MAC means something totally different)

The p800 is not sync compatible with the Mac yet because iSync 2.0 has not been released. when it is released, it will be

It appears that iSync1.1 (due later this month) will support the P800.

Despite the rumors, I don't believe that iSync 1.1 will support the P800. Apple still needs to add SyncML support to iSync for it to work with the P800. Such an upgrade, in my opinion, would warrant a whole number upgrade, not a dot-release, like 1.1.
Also, as I've said before, the damn Address Book still doesn't work. As long as that's the case, I doubt iSync will work either. I'm just hoping they'll get everything in working order in time for Panther, which is due in Q3 sometime.

Is syncml a factor if the P800 is synced from its cradle or is that only relevant for wireless sync?

I think that I might have read the the P800 sync will be 'wired' not wireless in this relaease. Not sure though.

As far as I know, the client application needs to support SyncML in order to synchronize data with the P800.
Besides, there is no software for OS X to support the cradle. For now, the only kind of communication that is possible is Bluetooth.
