Just my opinion. Someone else could easily chime in and say Treo.

It really depends what you are going to use it for.

Explain.

IMO the Curve has better reception

IMO Better overall phone depends on what your gonna use it for, your needs and wants!

IMO the Curve has a more stable operating system that you dont have to reset every other day to keep it running fresh and its not power hungry like the 750... much better battery life.

And yes ive used both went from Curve 1 to 750 to Curve 2...

the curve is really only better if your using it with Corp email and it really doesnt have html email just format.
if your going to customize your phone with programs, games, and stream music/videos I would go with a WinMo device like treo 750.
The keyboard on the curve is downright the best though, but the keyboard on the treo is really good also.
Blackberry is stable but thats only when you dont have alot of programs that take alot of memory. The first thing most people do with new phones is to try out lots of programs to see if things work. what happens next is that all of your text, email etc. gets deleted and erased off the device. You do have to do a BATTERY PULL every day or so because BB's have a memory leak problem thats not resolved in the newest update in 4.5.
Windows mobile devices are better at Multi Tasking but also have problems when lots of programs are loaded/in use. Which results in a battery pull/restart but you dont have to worry about Messages erasing or anything.

I get the same reception with BB and WinMo devices but other then Corp email I would say get a newer WinMo device. Besides the 35 bucks I love the BB Curve but Im really bored of it. Well Brickbreaker is addictive but WinMo was better for me. I just mostly need a browser, mp3 player, stream radio, texting and emailing with yahoo and gmail. I had a better experience with my treo and currently looking for one. Ive only had the curve for 6 weeks and its currently on ebay. I usually keep a phone for 5-6 months.

The curve is GSM only (no 3G). Also the battery life is many days. The Treo is 1 day at most.
As long as you install opera mini on the curve as your web browser, the lower speed won't be much of an issue.

It depends what you're doing. I prefer the Windows Mobile OS for general purpose. But the blackberry is going to be better if you're really getting it for corporate email.
Windows mobile you'll have to be willing to find 3rd party programs to get it to server your purposes just right. The curve is going to be mostly out-of-the box hassle free.
If you're a power user that likes to customize, go with the Treo. If you want it to just work without messing with it, get the curve.

The curve is smaller.

Both are good in their own way.

I like the 750 but never had a bb.

I am glad I read this discussion... even after I ordered my Treo 750 today. I lost my Cingular 8125 which served me well even if a bit clumsy to dial a phone number (somewhere between the White House and Washington Monument if you found it).

As a user of POP3 email - and occasional teathering... I chose to stay with WM6 over Blackberry, even if I LOVE the curve. All reports show the 3G data being far faster than than the system used by Blackberry - especially for a teathered connection. - and the data plan cost would be significantly more for the Curve.

I think I made the right call... even if the Curve was calling my name. I hope this preliminary report on MY decision adds some perspective for someone else.
