Curve theme errors

i have the curve and tmobile@home and the wifi reception bars show up fine on the default themes but they disappear when i download other themes. i had the pearl v2 and this was never a problem. why??

Are the themes specifically for your device? I think they have to be. 8100 themes don't work on 8120s or 8130s, etc.

yes they are themes for the 8300 series

It's probably because themes for 83xx series don't have the necessary files to show the wifi/UMA stuff because it's unique to the 8320 and not found on the 8300/8310.
