Ok laugh if you want....here is my question....ok well i need to lead up to it...I have never had an Mp4 player before and a friend of mine who is even lamer than that asked me to put music on it....cool figured that out but ....ahhhh do you have to format it first ~hangs head in shame ~ read the socalled instruction tried to find on the web but cant find this player anywhere....kk so rip me a new one as you kindly answer this ...please??

if windows mounts it as a removal drive just open my computer and right click on the drive and click format or check the settings menu on the mp3 player for a format option and do it directly from the device.

kk windows opens it as removable drive....so before i put anything on it format it correct?? ~I can hear you all snickering~

DAP should not need formatting in order to use. Anymore, they should be plug and play, ready to go out of the box.
