I just recently purchased a HTC Mogul 6800 that I am using on Cricket Wireless. All of my features work from picture messaging, video messaging and internet. I want to know if there is a way to set-up a POP3 e-mail account using the Cricket Wirless Service, so that I can receive my e-mails on my phone? Please help. Thanks.

P.S. When I use activesync it does download my e-mails via the USB connection.

How do you have your email set up on your Mogul?

If it is set up as a POP3 or IMAP4 account, then you should have been prompted to enter the incoming and outgoing servers.

It sounds like you are simply syncing your email from your desktop to your phone. If that is the case, it cannot and will not download emails via your cellular data connection.

**Thank you for replying. I may have set it up incorrectly. I went through the process of setting up my e-mail on my cell phone. This is the process as followed:

From my Mogul 6800 I tapped menu and then New Account. I entered my e-mail address and then password to my POP3 e-mail account. And then complete the process. When I tap on send/receive from the menu I get an error message that states "Cannot Connect with current connection settings. To change connection settings, tap Settings". My goal is to be able to receive my e-mails directly to my cell phone without assistance of a USB cable. Thanks again for your assistance.
