At the end of this month *June 29th my 20th birthday* I'll be able to get a new phone.

Since January I've been trying to figure out which one I want to get at the end of this month. The V9m or the Venus?

Last Thurs. I went to my local Verizon store to check these out + the Samsung Glyde. While I LOVED the Glyde I want to get it in Oct. when I can get my own contract with vzw.

Long story short, getting myself a new phone on someone else’s line in the family account I'm in. ~Parents don't want new phones~. And in Oct. We'll be out of our contract, and I can get out of the family one I'm in and get my own with vzw. And I don't think that I can get the Glyde on an American Choice II plan. Besides the Glyde would be better on the plan I'm looking at.

ANYWAYS back to the V9m and Venus.

When I went to the vzw store and tried out the two I found them to both be great phones. But there are some things that I couldn't play with.

The most important thing that both of them have to hackable.

My current phone is a Razr V3m. I flashed it to ViVo, did seem edits, etc. What hacking can I do with each? How easy is the hacking? Uploading ringtones, can I use BitPim? How is it done for each phone?

How’s durability? Call quality? Bluetooth? Any weird quirks any of them have? I know the Venus can do like 8GB for the MicroSD card, is it true the Razr 2 under the vzw UI do 4GB?

I'd love to hear ANYTHING ABOUT THESE PHONES! If you own the phone please tell me about it. What's weird about it, what good about it, what enhancements do they have over my v3m? OR why I shouldn't get it.
