htc 6800 change sliding sound?

have a htc 6800 and really want to know how to change the sliding sound. has wm6 adn cant find directions anywhere someone please help.

There is no way of doing it threw the GUI of the phone you have to change the registry values..

It tells u how to change the registry values.. Than if the one you want isnt listed in the massive thread you can ask for it or look around in your registry..

check on XDA Developers website.

You can edit the registry or if you just want to change one sound and don't want to go through the trouble. Go to the windows folder on your phone (easier to sync to your computer and use windows explorer). there should be 6 wave sounds, Slider in and out 1-3. You can easily just make 2 new wave sounds and replace one of yours with the same name. Make suer to copy your old ones just in case you ever want to change back.

You don't have to do this. Only if you don't feel comfortable altering your registry and want to quick change a sound.

I agree with Tyson above.. replacing the sounds with the same filename is the easiest way to go.
