when i try to get on bee jive it dont work? it takes a long time to try to open. it doesnt open and then its times out and i get a message that says uncaughtexception:java.lang.nullpointerexception.. . this makes me wanna down grade to the 4.2 .bee jive is my lifeee!! wat should i doo

To the OP, I cant get any messenger to work that I've tried, jivetalk, BB Aim, and webmessenger. Its basically because the apps dont recognize the OS and consider it foreign. Thus rendering it useless.

what the second poster meant im sure was that when installing betas you should know certain things will not work. if you arent prepared to deal with those effects then:

I have JiveTalk installed along with OS 4.5.0.37 on 8700, 8310, 8820 and soon 8120 and they are all fine. The key element that you need to install in OS 4.5 to make jivetalk to work is "Document to go". Without it, you will experience the java error, don't ask me why, it just works

Just as the above post says. You need to install doc's to go when you install the os. Just plug the phone into the device manager and install doc's to go. I have jivetalk on .37 and works flawlessly.

It is a well-known issue of 8320 and .37. Hopefully, it will be fixed in the next release.

That was one of the many reasons why I downgraded back to 4.2. Plus the UMA and low volume issues makes 4.5.037 the worst of the beta releases.
