Missing Attachments

Any idea why some attachments are not attached? When I check mail on my desktop, the attachment is there, but is not getting through to my Bell 8330 Curve.
Email is set up to forward all messages. This is new behaviour, as some attachments do arrive with the email. I just tried forwarding an email with a pdf attachment to my Blackberry Email and still no attachment.
