I just did something similar for Mom and her RAZR. The battery is OEM and works great, only cost $10 with shipping and is brand new! No complaints, maybe it's just overstock or something, that could be why they're so cheap.

Careful, just because the sellers say OEM doesnt always mean that.
Most of the time its just a knockoff...
Remember the memory card scams? bluetooth headset scams?
But 90% of the time the battery works just as good as one that costs 5x as much.

I've had bad luck with eBay for batteries. On 2 different occassions I got "OEM" batteries for my RAZR, only to later find out they were knockoffs and didn't work for crap. I also got a bluetooth headset that had terrible call quality. My advice- If it seems like too good of a deal to be true, it probably is. You're better off ponying up the dough for the real thing...
Oh, and OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer, in this case meaning the battery is identical to the one that came with the phone.

I've had only good experiences with this. Bought a OEM battery for my Pearl off Ebay and it works great! Only cost me 12 bucks + shipping. I would suggest you look for Power Sellers with lots of feedback to ensure you're getting a quality product.
