Ok, I plan on getting my phone hooked up on PagePlus and I seen that you can use any Verizon phone. Now I'm stuck between these 2 phones...

Motorola W385
LG VX5400
I'm a simple guy. I dont text or listen to music on my cell or any of that stuff. I just want a phone with a decent camera. Great quality reception. And I would like to be able to make my own ringtones and put it on my phone without having to pay anything. That is must. As well as good battery life even though I wont be using my phone much. I'm leaning more twards the LG phone but I'm not sure if I can make my own ringtones and put it on that phone because I don't see a USB connection port and I didnt read that it allows use of a minisd card. Maybe I'm researching in the wrong places. If It doesnt have any of those 2 then I will go with the Motorola.
So if anyone has had experiences with both of these phones or even one of them, can you please help me figure out which is best for me? Thanks a bunch!
EDIT: Oh yeah, and I would like to be able to be able to get the pictures off my phone without having to send it to my email or anything like that. If I can get it by connecting it to my computer or export to a minisd card or something, that would be fine.

You're going to have to use P2K or BitPim to get ringtones on either phone. Same with the pictures. Both are the same in terms of features and are both basic phones.
The W385 though does use a mini USB port, while the LG phone uses a priority data cable. And neither use media cards.
In the end they're pretty much the same thing, I'd go to a vzw store and just play around with them. See which one feels right.

Thanks you very much for answering me. I will do that.
Also... what is P2K and BitPim? Are those computer applications that allow you to get access to your phone programs or something? Let me do a google search. Thanks.

File managements for the most part. They're pretty easy to use once you read the instructions.
Look at these posts:

Thank you very much. So even with the Verizon firmware where it doesnt allow you to use custom ringtones and wallpapers and such, I can still do it with the P2k and BitPim, right?
Thanks.

Yes, it will just put it in the same folder where any of the ringtones would be held.
It would be no different then if you were to download it from GIN.
