Is there no volume boosting program for the curve???

im coming from the treo, and I had VolumeCare on it, and I loved how the speaker and the earpiece sounded. The Curve is rather softer when at full blast and I did a search everywhere and couldnt find anything...can anyone confirm this?

Thanks

CDMA devices do have a "volume boost" feature that pumps up the volume in noisy environments.
You can enable it by going into the phone app, then options, then Enhanced Audio.

It only works when the chipset detects that you're in a loud environment.

For me, it seems as if the Global Volume for Curve's in general are louder than normal. I actually have to modify my ringers so they arent so loud. To each is own, however, I have not heard of this program for the BB, but I am sure its out there!

I believe the Curve is hearing-aid compatible.

Thats what I mean, its louder than it needs to be. My issue isnt the loudness, its loud enough. I just want to be able to set it lower. (Lower than the low setting.)

My husband just got the 8330 from Alltel and its his only complaint! He has the volume cranked, and still can't hear anything. Hopefully someone knows of a fix....

did anyone have this solution...

if you press the <ALT> at the bottom left then press the Speaker/$ on the phone it will use the external speaker and that gets fairly loud.. I use it all the time when I am busy or just do not want to hold the phone.

I was meaning the volume of the ringer not the earpiece or speaker.
