Thanks for the reply 666.

Can anyone asking my question here? How come the signal bar under the Sony Ericsson mobile always go up and down so often. But the Motorola or Nokia signal bar so constant?

Thanks.

I'm using the P800 on Fido and I find the sound quality excellent MUCH better than the T68i I had....not even in the same league.

This "Hissing" issue is apparently a real problem with the new SE T610. Those who have received the phone already can confirm this.
Rest assured that there is no problem like this with ANY P800 that I have hear of... that includes the 2 P800s in my house.

If this problem isn't correctable through SW I'm very curious to see how SE will deal with customers who are now stuck with this problem (IMO the phone should have NEVER been released like this... period!) SE

Let me also add this since I had a wonderful opportunity to have a T610 next week myself (through a very kind HoFo member I might add) but decided against it and to wait. I'd love to have the T610 NOW but at the cost of living with this flaw... I'll pass!

vwvwvw,

If you use BT then hissing is not a problem with the T610.

Jalal,

You don't know how much I'd love to have the T610 and you're right about using it with BT (especially with the D-BS we should have next week) BUT It's my wife that would be the one who would end up using the T610 the most and she would tend to use the handset just the way it is.
She doesn't want to have a Hissy Fit if you know what I mean.

Man I'm really p*ssed at SE for screwing this up SE

Thanks for the encouragement though... as mad as I am I'm weakening. I just wish I could hear how bad the problem is for myself.

I wish I could say she'll get used to it but, for me its too obvious to ignore. XP says its OK for him now and he is used to it. Maybe he can comment further. I'm not in Bahrain now so hopefully by the time I'm back they'll have a fix for it. I'll keep you posted if they have a fix for it.

like i said in my post in the SE forum, that if you live in a cave , yes, the hissing sound is noticeable, other then that it dosent bother me @ all. and it appear to me also, that the sound only @ the beginning of the call.

and as right now, i dont have any BT headset to test it with T610:-( , but i will tested next week once i get my DIGI-BLUESPOON.
and i hope it will be a great combination
