What is the best possible phone for voice quality? Currently available, US.

Hi everyone,

So the keynote left me feeling underwhelmed - no fault of Apple's whatsoever, more like a feeling of disappointment that my own expectations weren't met. (also: no online ordering? no way. no waiting in line for a phone.)

I am trying to find the best currently available phone, with voice quality being absolutely paramount. Ideally, people wouldn't be able to tell that I am on a wireless phone.

Secondarily would be a nice-looking phone and good, easy-to-use features, but a multimedia powerhouse isn't necessary. Of course, if the best voice quality can be found in a phone that happens to be a multimedia powerhouse, then great.

Open to any manufacturer and any of the major carriers.

The Motorola phones with Crystaltalk are probably the best you are going to get from any manufacturer.
