Sharp VodafoneGX17..Help!

My unit was purchased in Algiers.I am now using it here in the Philippines.It does work, fine but sometimes with some problems with regard to sim.I use a Smart sim coz it is much better to use in it. I wanted so much to have GPRS activated but Smart wireless centers in here cant activate it although the settings are now in here in this vodafone.Can anybody who had a problem such as this teach me how to manually do the activation of this?I really wanted to use the features like mms sending and receiving.please help me!Anyone please!
