New iphone - Call Volume Fix

Hi...iphone is amazing, but call volume is terrible..if you compare it with a verizon phone making same call from same location the difference is astonishing...I don't mean at all to bash...again the device is amazing, but has anything been said about improved call volume on the new device? Thanks
