i downloaded openssh with cydia. Well the icon doesnt show up on my srceen. How can i use it? Im not even sure i need it. I downloaded the Sega emulator but i need to install the roms and it says where to put them but i think i need to SSH into the dir to install. Please help. I am using iliberty+. should i use something else?

Ssh is a client app that runs silently in the background. No icon will show up. After install you can use ibrickr, winscp, etc to ssh files into phone's dir.

Yeah i ended up getting it to work. I got the phone jailbroke with iliberty and it is working great. Now i just need to firgure out what apps i want and i cant wait for the icontrolpad for the games.

Use bossprefs to turn off SSH when you don't need, because it sucks a lota life out of the battery if you leave it on all day

bump on this so i don't start a new thread. I've somehow changed my default wallpaper to something I don't want anymore. So I have re-jailbroken using ziphone and downloaded open ssh through installer and winscp onto my laptop. I'm trying to input my iphone ip address as the host name, root as the user name and alpine as the password but the connection between the laptop and the phone can not be made. Any ideas why?

And once I do get into SSH, what steps do I need to make to change the wallpaper back to the default where I can change it to whatever I want?
