Hmm, looking for a new toy. These two phones certainly seem to be new and fun. How would you compare them?

Any input is appreciated. I'm off to Asia in a few weeks and am hoping I can find at least one of them there.

Thanks!

The Xperia looks fun... to club someone with!

That thing is huge!

Xperia isn't huge, its smaller then the Samsung i900. pics are deceiving. the sam i900 doesn't have a keyboard though so they dont compare. the sam i900 does more compete with the iphone and so do htc diamon and other non keyboard wm phones.

while to me the htc touch pro and xperia with keyboards aren't really trying to compete with the iphone as they are basically better because of the keyboard but also therefore not as thin.

What do you think of the functionality of a full keyboard (X1) versus the iphonish touch keypad (i900)?

I thought the i900 will be a haptic keypad? If this is the case, it'll be better than the iphone, which doesn't provide tactile feedback.

I do prefer a full qwerty (big hands), which is why i've stuck with my dash. Well, that and t-mobile's lack of 3G! I think the X1 or the touch pro will be my next phone. (Oh yeah, probably switching to ATT, which is why the bands are less important now)

Sony Xperia X1 for $400 and available now anyone?

I guess its a scame site though?
if only it were real

anyone want to be a guinea pig and try ordering from them. Is that the only way to get them added to the Fraud section of HoFo that alerts users of scammers?

someone has to get burned by them first. isn't enough that they have an LA address with non LA area code and both lines are a busy signal and that they are claiming to sell phones that aren't out yet for less then half the known price.

these kind of sites are such a tease and you find yourself hoping its real. can't find any reseller rating on this site or anything. they are on yahoo shopping.com or whatever and a couple other things make them seem possibly legit but i guess not. Claiming to have the Xperia really gave them away.

they dont have much a of a selection but they do also have the Touch Diamond for $400 and the i-mate 8502 for $350 when ti sells everywhere else for $700+
