It's awesome! I love the flashlight feature. and it spins on a table endlessly, something the 1G could never do because of it's flat back.

Not funny he has a point, iphone 3g will be release before july 11 to avoid the long lines due to the activating process. same thing apple did with the ipod touch a silent early release. The rest of the crowd will crowd apple stores on july 11. How is it possible for apple and att to sell and activate phones at the same time for the amount people purchasing phones that day? look for the silent early release date like the ipod touch.

I dont think the iPod touch had a SET release date (I could be wrong, havent seen that keynote) I believe Job said "In a few weeks" or something to that efffect.

You know, you should really post some source for this statement if you're not going to put the words "I think" in front of it.

Example: I think you're wrong, and that the long lines on release day are awesome (and free) publicity for Apple. As someone else pointed out in another thread, the iPod Touch didn't have to be approved by the FCC before its release. The iPhone 3G is not the iPod Touch, and I think we're going to see it on July 11th -- no earlier. IMO.

The way things are going now, I'll probably be at the head of the line, too!
