Would this card work for HTC Touch?

Guys, would this 4gb card work for my Verizon HTC Touch (XV6900)? Otherwise they have a class 4 for like $23. Is a class 4 necessary? Also, is this a good price for 4gb? Thanks!

I think my microSD card is the exact same one. Using it on my Bell Touch, no issues so far. Should be good for yours.

Damn good price too, I paid nearly $80 for mine, because Canada prices are retardedly high.

That is a really good price for a 4GB SDHC card.

angekfire: I should direct you to DX. You can get a 4GB SDHC card for $28 with free shipping. It's coming from HK, so it might take a couple weeks but it's well worth the wait. I've been buying stuff of DX for quite some time, good company to deal with and I'm not affiliated in any way.

well if you bought a crappy sandisk card and got ripped off, thats your own fault
i got a 4GB Patriot MicroSD Class 6 for $20 ($30 + $10MIR, got the rebate about 2 weeks later)

if your getting a microsd, why not just get a class 6? anything else is near useless. the link in the op post is garbage, ive benchmarked the sandisk in comparison with kingmax and patriot mSD's and the sandisk comes in dead last, like 1/2 the speed of everytning else.

Sandisk, tripple the price, no quality, slower than hell

In case anyone is interested, this is a reply I received from HTC regarding micro SD cards.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the SDHC storage card size that this Touch will work with.

We thank you for your enthusiasm for our products and are more than happy to answer any questions that you might have. The Touch is compatible with any SDHC. Currently the largest that SDHC will go is 32 Gb. We thank you for your email.
I hope we have answered your question in detail. Feel free to contact us again if you have any further questions.

Well I did get that 4gb Sandisk in the link for $14. It's in my phone and working fine. In which way would the speed come into play? I just want to see if I made the wrong choice. Thanks!

Class 4? Class 6? I have the slightest idea about microsd cards hahaha.

Anyways. I bought the same one WizeGuy so glad to know I'm okay.

I got it for $17.50 shipped from this guy on eBay

why does the sprint manual for touch only say it works with up to a 2gb sd card.. not sdhc and not up to 4gb ...?

do u need to perform a hack?

I would definitely question that as HTC says otherwise for my XV6900 (read my official HTC response post above). If you want to make doubly sure email HTC tech support.

I am using a 4gb card right now with no problems.
