Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a good cheap phone around the $100 or so mark.

No real specific requirements, just something that's decent quality, small, has reasonable battery life. That said, being able to connect it to my PC would be handy.

Someone I work with has offered to sell me their 2 month old Nokia 6300 (RM-217) for $100 (they are leaving the country and don't need it any more). Is this a good deal?

Should I get this phone, or are there better options available?

I'm currently using a Nokia 6600 but its a bit too chunky / heavy and the battery is starting to go. Is the 6300 a step down in any way? (going by the model numbers I'd assume so, but looking at the phone its obviously newer, has features the 6600 doesn't, etc.)

As you can probably tell, I know nothing about mobiles

Any advice anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.
