I have a quick question on the Moto Q and I figure you guys could give me a quick answer. Is it possible to unlock a Moto Q from AT&T and use it on the Verizon network?

Yes, you can unlock the Moto Q Global from AT&T.
No, you cannot use it on Verizon - different technologies. An unlocked AT&T phone can be used on any GSM network. It will also work on UMTS/HSDPA networks, as long as these use 850 or 1900 MHz for their 3G service.
Unlocked GSM phones cannot run on CDMA networks like Verizon or Sprint. While the air interface used by AT&T's 3G service is called WCDMA, this is not the same and it's not compatible with plain CDMA.
