I would imagine it'll be possible, but we'll know more when the gold 2.0 firmware get released, etc.
If anything it might take a while before the tools get updating to work with the new iPhone.

I actually wouldn't put it past someone to make and release a legitimate application for this.

I'm sure someone is working on this for the AppStore. But, the million dollar question....will Apple allow the detail of changing of icons, text, repository for swapping/sharing between users, etc. etc. that is available in Customize? Highly unlikely.

This is one of the big reasons why I'll wait for the 2.0 software to be released and settle out for a bit before upgrading.

Same goes for wanting the GPS and the 3g connectivity on the iPhone 3g. I'll sit and watch what happens. I could live with a 16g for quite a while....but I have a hunch that a 32g version isn't that far away (either Chrismas 08 season, or the other Apple meeting in January).
