All I have to say is $250 is a lot less then paying what I paid when I waited in line for over 6 hours and paid $499. Since the new 3g iPhone is only going to cost $199, then I guess you did over pay. If your using it on a different network, then what you paid is normal right now. Unlocked 8gb are still selling for $400.

Yeah 250 is a little high. Especially since the 3g iPhone is making it's appearance soon (even though there isn't a real big difference). If you don't live in an area where you are not covered by 3g, then don't worry about it. $250 for a phone isn't bad. Think about it, most basic phones if you buy them outright are at least 200 or more, even for a run of the mill flip. So in all actuality, no it isn't a horrendous deal.

I'd say those of us who waited in line to get one iWeekend are the ones that truly got ripped off, lol I was one of them, and bought 2. The girlfriend still uses hers, and I sold mine back in February for 275 just to avoid a potential price drop with the new one screwing up what I'd get for it. But mind you, I did throw in a butt load of accessories, and unlocked it seeing as it was sold to a friend. And I'm talking about 150 bucks worth of accessories, lol Either way - it could have been worse. If you like the phone and are going to stick with it for a while, don't worry about it.

Edit: Never mind I got a used 4gb Iphone from ebay for under $200 in the last few hours.
