Hi all. Long time reader, first time poster here.

I'm currently with Bell Mobility in Ottawa, and looking to upgrade my cellphone sometime this month, and the two phones I'm currently deciding between are the LG Rumor and Samsung U740.

I'm basically looking for a phone that'll let me watch videos and create my own ringtones, since I tend to do alot of both on my current phone. Good reception, a nice camera/camcorder, being able to text message with ease and surf the Internet with no problem is also a plus.

I'm open to any other recommendations as well.

I would say the Samsung U740 because it is EV-DO! so really fast browsing
if you dont browse though... its a tough choice... i would say check them both out and play with them and see what design you like... personally i like both but if i had to choose id get the Samsung U740 because its evdo and i browse a lot..

they both are solid phones
