How to do a system reset

Hi,

This week, my htc touch start to have a battery problem... How can I do a system reset to increase my battery time ?

start > settings > system > clear storage.

But for now, my touch wont boot...

Always on the Windows mobile green screen (sorry for my english).

How can i format my touch like i do for my computer and start it like a brand new touch ?

put it in bootloader mode, by holdng the power and camera buttons while starting the phone, then flashing it.

There is another method using mtty but you must know what you are doing as the wrong command could cause permanent damage to your phone.

Don't need any bootloader mode or flashing. We are looking for a clean start and not a new Rom!

Just hold down the two front buttons and press the reset button on the bottom. That'll do it.

Note that you will probably have to call your carrier to reactivate.
